Podobno zawiera poprawioną wersję flash'a. Niektórzy mieli problemy z youtube i filmami co ma być poprawione.
Ciekawe jaka jest teraz wersja, jak będę w domu to sprawdzę, chyba że ktoś ma teraz czas:

o Exclusive Content – download and keep loads of new and exclusive premium avatars, dynamic themes and game add-ons.
o Full Game Trial – Try full games each month for a limited period before you decide whether to buy them.
o Automatic Download – Set your PS3 to automatically wake up, download and install all of your game updates, new game demos and even download the latest system software. All without you lifting a finger.
o Limited Special Offer – To celebrate the launch of PlayStation Plus we are also offering users the chance to get hold of LittleBigPlanet completely free. * Photo Gallery: A new network based photo sharing feature is now available on the Photo Gallery. The enhancement allows you to upload, browse and comment on photos on Facebook and Picasa. * Video Editor & Uploader: Video Editor and Uploader is a new function found on the XrossMediaBar (XMB), which enables you to edit, save and upload video files stored on the PS3 system to sites such as Facebook or YouTube.

* Your Friends List will now show Trophy levels as you hover over them.
* Friends Lists now have a golden ‘plus’ on them for anyone subscribing to PlayStation Plus.
* The colours of your Friend’s boxes faded in, rather than ‘jumping’ from the normal grey.
* There’s an option to calibrate the sensors in PlayStation Move controllers.
* Deep Color Output has been added for TV sets that support the feature over HDMI.
* The Video Editor cannot be used on videos installed on the hard drive before Firmware 3.40.
* A few PlayStation Plus items have appeared in the menus, such as Automatic Downloading.

Tak i to bardzo, ale po pierwsze telewizor musi obsługiwać ten standard kodowania informacji o kolorach i po drugie materiał musi być nagrany w tym standardzie.
Gry nie są robione w Deep Colour tylko w FullRGB.
Deep Colour to głównie domena kamer cyfrowych.
Dlaczego w umowie na soft 3,40 pisze ze jest to wersja oprogramowania 1.3 ?

Na targach IFA firma Sony ogłosiła, że update firmware'u, umożliwiający odtwarzanie płyt Blu-Ray 3D, ukaże się w październiku (wcześniej mówiono o wrześniu). Jak wnioskuję z załączonego newsa, to opcja ta będzie dostępna dla wszystkich odmian PS3 (fat & slim).
