Witam,

Posiadam zestaw Samsung UE55F7000SL + Onkyo HT-R758 + Tuner Sat IPBox910. Wlaczylem obsluge kanalu zwrotnego w amplitunerze. Do sterowania caloscia uzywam pilota uniwersalnego firmy Logitech, ktory ze starym LCDekiem dzialal bez zarzutow.

Po wybraniu aktywnosci TV-SAT pilot:
1) wlacza amplituner i ustawia na CBL/SAT (sygnal z dekodera sat)
2) wlacza dekoder sat
3) wlacza telewizor

Schemat podlaczenia

IPBOX <===HDMI===> (HDMI:CBL/SAT) HT-R758 (HDMI OUT) <====> HDMI3 (ARC) Samsung

Problem

I *had* the same problem. Had to outsmart the TV. May not work with all AVRs.

When I enable ARC (HDMI-CEC) on my Samsung TV and Onkyo 809 AVR (and from my research this applies to any tv/avr with CEC), after turning everything on, the TV would send a signal to the Onkyo to change from Cable to TV/CD (supposedly because the cable box doesn't support HDMI-CEC) after a few seconds and automatically switch inputs.

If I disabled Samsung's Anynet+ it would work correctly. But disabling wasn't a viable solution, because then I wouldn't be able to listen to any internet content through my HT speakers.

My solution: Change the AVR settings.
Leave Anynet+ enabled on the TV, leave RHID and ARC enabled in the Onkyo (we obviously want ARC to work).
Go to the AVR/Onkyo setup menu, Input/output assignment, HDMI inputs. My cable box was connected to HDMI3, and I had to press CBL on the Onkyo to use it. I changed the Cable input (Onkyo setup) from HMDI3 to none. And changed the TV/CD input from none, to HDMI3. (Same menu, scroll down)

Basically I told the AVR when set to TV/CD to use the audio from the cable box HDMI.

Now when I turn on my TV and AVR, it's on TV/CD and I get the audio from the cable box. When I go to smart hub, the cable audio turns off automatically (which is good) and ARC is enabled automatically (also good) on the same TV/CD settings, and I can listen to internet content through my speakers without changing any settings.

O yeah, the TV still trys to change the Onkyos output to TV/CD a few seconds after it's powered on, but since the TV/CD input now takes both the cable box audio and ARC, it does nothing.
