"that will not stop people from hoping ... and that is all this is about ... hope and faith
facts and logical thinking play no part in this"
I got some cool data sets from Ray Coronado where he and an industry reviewer took some out of the box readings of Panasonic VT 60 plasma sets in their THX mode and then they ran those D-nice slides for 100 hours exactly as per the instructions ... then fed in those special D-nice settings after the break in. What did they find?
Was the end result better than the stock THX mode in the TV? Did people end up with a better calibrated tv?
No. In both cases ... the THX mode was still better out of the box. The break in disc ... and the 100 hours ... and the special settings afterward were just a complete waste of time. This is what really happens when people actually have proper instruments to validate and verify the claims of this special break in process.
oj, wycięło link ale można znaleźć w google po tytule docieranie-plazm-i-kalibracja-obalamy-mity-panasonic
