Widzę, że wszedłeś w promlematykę jak mało kto - tylko nie uciekaj z tego wątku na forum, bo znowu zrobi się pusto!

Ja w swojej kamerze Panasonic nie mam zapisu PGS (data i czas nagrania), ale w Sony mam i to mogłem wyświetlać poprzez Setup w kompilacji z multiAVCHD - sprawdź czy u ciebie się nie da.
ad.2
Robiłem podobny test bez łączenia plików, ale poza POP-UP wszystko było dobrze (jak może przeczytałeś dopisek Deana - wie o co chodzi). Może aktualizacje coś popsuły.
Co do daty i czasu - sprawdź wyłączanie przez Setup
Co do innych kwesti, to muszę zrobić odpowiednie testy, ale to w późniejszym czasie.

ad.1 - już sprawdziłem - wszystko jest OK. w Setup menu można włączyć/wyłączyć PGS
Wcześniej robiłem próby bez Setup menu i dlatego mi to umknęło.
Po Twoim poście to sprawdziłem i DZIAŁA.
ad.2 - nie wiem o który test Ci chodzi ? że wszystko u Ciebie było dobrze...

A co do problematyki... sam bardzo dawno kiedyś programowałem ale to były czasy Pascala/Clippera i wiem jak ciężko się wyłapuje błędy w programie który się samemu napisało.

There were few more fixes in the last hour, so if you're asked to update - update or use multiUPDATE.exe

Also make sure to remove [x] Set 12 equal chapter jumps and [x] Add chapter at title end.... These may affect your compilations, too.

I know about the chapter->thumbnail link problem and I said that I'll fix it... It was left for this week to be dealt with.

About tsmuxer failure... try with the playlist again... if it fails please save the project (before you start) and send me the .mpf file.

Okay... This is VERY VERY importaint!

You CAN NOT rename the BDMV folder. It is used as a BASE pointer to all other folders and should always be "BDMV" (not like in your case BDMV15)!

Never rename any of the folders:

BDMV
PLAYLIST
CLIPINF
STREAM

About your comment that it works in build 729 - no it doesn't and I don't believe you. The procedure is the same in both builds/versions. If you renamed your folder to BDMV and then tested - yes...

Or if you had

E:\BDMV15\PLAYLIST\00000.mpls

and another folder in the same drive:

E:\BDMV\PLAYLIST\00000.mpls

then it may have worked (with different results, though).

I spent more than an hour with this 'bug' which isn't a bug.

final edit: In the last update you'll notice that "Checking playlist..." takes less than one second (almost instant) and not 10-15 seconds rolling from 0% to 100% (or 120%)

The log you attached is for FULL-PROCESSING [f], not for [p] or [m]. [f] mode doesn't care about the name of the folder, since it will recreate all from scratch (full mode). [p] and [m] modes depend on the proper naming "BDMV" and if you rename the folder it will fail - always.

Please use multiUPDATE.exe to get the latest build and then do the tests. A lot of things fixed... And please do not rename the BDMV folder if you're going to use [m]/[p]. It will never work.

Yes, things are complicated but they get even more complicated when we compare incomparable situations.

You're testing [P] and [M] modes and you say if fails, but in 729 it works, BUT THEN AGAIN you're not testing [p]/[m] but [F] mode. It is not a proper way to test/compare. I'm sorry.

Let's keep the things simple - never rename BDMV to something else.

Of course, you have absolutely right
I was doing a lot of different build and I have a few BDMV folder on my hard disk. To these may be next to each other gave them supplementary characters. In the structure of AVCHD I would never change these folders. Of course, they were always cases of the "f" and therefore never an error occurred. This has reduced my vigilance.
Now my rule is always: never rename it something else BDMV

This error with the menu is something else... Once you get it you have a box with the avisynth script to play. Get the error message and post it.

In the latest update - when using multiple m2ts files in a playlist (like with your camcoder playlists):

Chapter extraction will try once (with the exact chapter-mark time), and then 4 additional times to get the thumbnail so it is not black or gray. It will do it in 4 steps of 2.5 seconds forward and backwards to find a frame which is suitable for chapter thumbnail.

Currently AviSynth script "menu-previewM.avs" in the MPC has the same message (error) as previously for other cases.

If you don't use [x] Motion title thumbnail in version 4.0 you'll get the same good results as in 3.1. Please check if you use STATIC menu and NO motion title thumbnail -> [-] Motion title thumbnail.

It seems the video from this camcoder cannot be properly processed by avisynth, hence the error.

I knew the error will be the same as reported before - just wanted to be sure.

Indeed it is. For the static menu AviSynth scripts "menu-preview.avs" and "menu-previewM.avs" works correctly.
It is very well and can remain so!

You work very hard and it is on several directions.
Program multiAVCHD v 4.0 is a fantastic result of your work. It is also evidence of your talent, knowledge and great discipline

Ja z kolei poświęciłem trochę czasu na próby ze zdjęciami. Rezultaty są znakomite. Jedynym problemem jest ZAWSZE brak pierwszego zdjęcia (czarny prostokąt) w menu Rozdziały.
Trochę problemów mam także z podkładem muzycznym do zdjęć. Może nie problemów, ale drogi, którą muszę przebyć. A mianowicie, mając długość pokazu slajdów muszę dopasować długość muzyki. Wybieram parę utworów, osobno dla nich robię kompilację w multiAVCHD. Powstają pliki (w katalogu STREAM) .MTS z dźwiękiem (tyle, ile jest utworów). Potem łączę te pliki programem tsMuxerGUI, następnie demuksuję powstały połączony plik, by w końcu dodać do pokazu slajdów zdemuksowany plik AC3. Trochę to skomplikowane ale działa. Być może w przyszłości będzie można dodawać pliki muzyczne bezpośrednio do multiAVCHD po kolei, bez konieczności dopasowywania ich długości w inny spsób.

No witaj nagdob-ciebie na forum też brakuje. Dlaczego tak rzadko tu bywasz? Częściej dziel się swoim doświadczeniem z innymi!
Z tym dodawaniem muzyki do pliku ze slajdami, to mógłbyś sobie uprościć życie posługując się Audacity - jest fo program darmowy, a ma duże możliwości w zakresie kompilacji dźwięku.

Zrobiłem jeszcze raz szereg testów uwzględnających twoje uwagi - nie opisuje wszystkiego, bo teraz widzę, że porobiłeś dopiski i nie ma problemów.
W przypadku usuwania rozdziałów to istotnie nie działa to dobrze. To ma być właściwie nie usuwanie rozdziałów jako takich, a usuwanie ikon reprezentujący te rozdziały w Chapters menu. U mnie jest tak:
Wczytałem strukturę AVCHD, w której był jeden tytuł i 44 pliki .mts czyli z automatu tyle samo rozdziałów. Usunąłem 40 pierwszych rozdziałów i dokonałem kompilacji z mod "f". Wszystko przebiegło normalnie i po uruchomieniu struktury wynikowej, wszystkie 44 rozdziały zostały nadal zachowane i z pilota mogłem kolejne wybierać od początku do końca. To bardzo dobrze, że znaczniki rozdziałów nie są usuwane i nadal jest dostęp do początku plików pierwotnych. Natomiast w Chapters menu widnieją tylko 4 ikony rozdziałów i niestety reprezentują one 4 pierwsze, a nie 4 ostatnie rozdziały.
Myślę, że ta opcja usuwania ikon z Chapters menu może być bardzo przydatna, gdy mamy nadmiar plików pierwotnych, a chcemy tylko pozostawić te ikony, które dają nam dostęp do ineresujących nas miejsc w filmie. O ile dobrze pamiętam Dean ma to na uwadze - ale teraz jeszcze nie działa to dobrze.
Pobawię się jeszcze tymi kolorami (o których pisałeś), aby zobaczyć jak to działa.

@nagdob - masz rację jest dokładnie tak jak piszesz , zawsze pierwsza ikona "Chapters" jest czarna.
Wcześniej albo tego nie było albo nie zauwazyłem (ale raczej to pierwsze)

@Sydon - wypisałem sobie na kartce to co nie działa i sprawdzam co jakis czas (a lista jest dość długa ale z mało istotnymi sprawami).
Nie piszę nic Dean-owi bo o wielu rzeczach wie i ma to poprawić.
To co opisałem wcześniej (w poscie który edytuje jak coś zostanie poprawione) to tylko najważniejsze rzeczy które utrudniają prace.
Wcześniej Dean wprowadzał zmiany w swoim programie pojedyńczo i łatwiej było wyłapac błedy. Teraz gdy wszystko przebudował i dodał na raz ogrom nowych funkcji musi upłynąć trochę czasu aż wszystko się wyklaruje.
Gdyby Dean nie miał nic innego teraz na głowie to już dawno by było poprawione.
Myślę , że jest bliski ukończenia "Custom menu" i wraz z kolega @drelin stworzą coś co nas kolejny raz zaskoczy.
Cieszę sie że po wielkich trudach udało się ustalić kwestję wczytywania playlisty wprost z kamery.
Co do ukrywania ikon rozdziałów to masz rację - opcja jest bardzo przydatna i powinna działac dobrze.
Jesli chodzi o kolory to masz pewnie na myśli te dwa suwaczki odpowiedzialne za przezroczystość nawigacji w menu.
Nie działa dobrze.

Dean za moją sugestią dorobił oddzielne ustawienie koloru i przezroczysości klawisza nawigacji w Sub-menu ale założeniem moim miało być aby dostęp do menu był tylko poprzez POP-UP (czyli ukrywamy wszystko w MAIN menu Play,Setup,Title list,Chapters oraz klawisz nawigacji ustawiając pierwszy suwak na "0"). Niestety połączył MAIN menu z TITLE list i w ten sposób wchodząc przez POP-up
do Title list nie widzimy nawigacji.

This was fixed yesterday afternoon and the options are applied to Main menu only and to "TITLE_LIST+SETUP+CHAPTERS". It works here.

About your other problems - I can't understand ... google is good but not that much

Regarding navigation - thanks - now works fine.
Regarding slideshow - the first icon in the "Chapters" is always black.


Regarding - hide icons chapters - when we remove the first icon from the list is always removed last.

Once you're at the stage of creating the menu I have a small suggestion.
Maybe it would have been in the "Chapters" to use Navigator as it is in many other programs. Color and the thickness of the frame, each user would be able to set the same.
Just as an example.
